I am currently a Art Education major finishing up my final semester of college in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. I will graduate in the spring of 2009 and afterwards will be pursuing a career as a full time art teacher in either elementary or secondary art education. In my free time (and summers off) I plan to continue creating comics and pursue my other artistic interests.

I enjoy creating comics that focus on romance and have a quiet, and relaxed pacing. With my current webcomic Patches, I try to accomplish just these things. The focus of Patches is of course the romances and friendships between the characters, however the backdrop of a quiet, small town life is just as essential to lend a relaxing atmosphere. It seems as you get older, quiet and relaxation are something you have to work hard to get as days can easily get filled up with work and other stresses. So if you read my comic and it is relaxing to you, then I have done my job.
