My name's L. Skinner (aka "Elle") and I'm a 24 year old San Francisco native. I have a degree in Studio Art and a minor in Japanese language from Willamette University. My fifth grade yearbook lists me as "most likely to be the best writer and drawer ever" and it only hit me later in life that maybe this is something I should work towards. I spend most of my freetime drawing, puttering around my livejournal, knitting, completing the San Francisco stairway walks, and reading books from the library. I also enjoy pawing through thrift stores for strange 1970's style pottery, drinking tea, and playing videogames. I cannot spell to save my life.
My non-comic art has appeared in such scattered places as the Blackfish Gallery (Portland, OR), the Willamette University permanent collection (Salem, OR), and the 35th California Student Media and Multimedia Festival (honorable mention). I've also participated in 4 different "flamingo art" installations. I think that's pretty keen!
I currently fold sweaters for a living.
